A Tale of The Thirteenth Floor by Ogden Nash
Some of you may remember I posted a link to this poem on the old forum...

...and pondered whether it may have been the inspiration behind the Scream! version.
Well, apparently not. I took the opportunity to ask John Wagner himself on facebook and he had this to say...
"It's not a poem I know - doubt Alan Grant knew it either or he'd have mentioned it. Interesting coincidence, though."
So there you go. Just an appropriately strange coincidence. Isn't the internet cool?
